HERE (revised Sept 23, 2018)
This is a complete WAMA chord pamphlet which contains the tunes we play in our Slow Jams.
We'll be playing: Silent Night in C, Jingle Bells in G, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen in Am, Up On the Housetop in G, and
O Little town of Bethlehem in D, which is available HERE as a PDF file.
In addition we will be playing our "Tune of the Month" (Frosty the Snowman) which is available down below in pdf format as well as an mp3 file of what the tune sounds like:
Frosty the Snowman MP3
And of course, we'll be playing our standard tunes of: Old Joe Clark in A, Soldiers Joy in D, Bill Cheatum in A, Blackberry Blossom in G, Liberty in D, and Cripple Creek in A.
We typically play these tunes at around 90 to 100 beats per minute. After everyone has had a chance to take a lead break on it (if they desire), we then play the tune through a couple of times as a group at normal speed. Mistakes are welcome and egos are checked at the door.
Hope to see you there!
