About Us
Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To preserve and promote American acoustic music by fostering
a supportive, family-friendly community where musicians of all ages and skill levels can
learn, grow, and share their creative spark.
Our Vision
To be the Pacific Northwest’s premier hub for acoustic music—creating
a vibrant, multi-generational culture where the traditions of acoustic music are passed
down, mentorship is standard, and every individual is empowered to find their inner musician.
Our Core Values
-
Inclusive Mentorship: We believe that music is best learned in community. We
foster an environment where experienced musicians guide beginners, and every member
is both a teacher and a student.
-
Youth Empowerment: The future of music depends on the next generation. We
prioritize youth involvement, providing the resources and encouragement young
people need to ignite their creativity.
-
Contagious Enthusiasm: We approach our work with passion and joy. Our
events—from jams to workshops—are designed to be welcoming, high-energy, and
family-friendly.
-
Community Stewardship: As a Registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, we are committed
to being a reliable partner to festivals like Wintergrass and a supportive home for
acoustic music fans across the Northwest.
